Professor Narayan Behera
Professor, SVYASA University, Bengaluru, India and Founder – Academy of Spiritual Empowerment
Professor Narayan Behera is a scientist and spiritual practitioner with a Ph.D. in Quantum Physics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. His postdoctoral research spans theoretical physics, mathematical biology, and computational biology, conducted across France, Japan, the Netherlands, the USA, and Finland. He has contributed to numerous book chapters in evolutionary biology, theoretical ecology, the philosophy of science, and Indian spiritual philosophy. Currently, he is guiding research students at SVYASA University, Bengaluru, India on the effects of yoga on academic performance and adolescent learning, comparative studies of Indian philosophies, among others.
A dedicated spiritual seeker, Professor Behera has been practicing deep meditation on the spiritual eye since 1997 under the guidance of two realized masters. His spiritual journey has led to profound inner experiences including heightened intuition, perpetual bliss, and expanded identity with the Limitless Self. Inspired by these transformative states, he has founded the Academy of Spiritual Empowerment to guide others toward higher consciousness. His mission is to help build a spiritually awakened society aligned with his Guru’s divine vision.
